Empowering the Next Generation of Leaders
The youth of Upper Hammonds Plains are the heartbeat of our community — bold, creative, and full of potential. This space is dedicated to celebrating your voices, your ideas, and your dreams. Here, we aim to inspire leadership, connection, and pride in where we come from, while creating opportunities to learn, grow, and make a lasting impact. Together, we’re building a future rooted in heritage, guided by purpose, and powered by the next generation — you.

Congratulations Jacelyn!

So, it felt natural to go into a career where she could help them. Her first try left her discouraged, but she didn’t want to give up. Now a graduate of the Nova Scotia SPCA College of Animal Welfare, Jacelen is sure she belongs, and she’s passing it forward to others with a similar goal path.
