To enhance UHPCDA’s visibility in providing valued services to the community, we have engaged in community partnerships with multiple businesses and organizations including those identified below.


Emmanuel Baptist Church – The Meeting Place

Emmanuel Baptist Church has been and will always be a part of the community of Upper Hammonds Plains, which the association represents. UHPCDA partners with the EBC The Meeting Place on many issues and we look forward to working with EBC for future projects.

African Nova Scotian Community Economic Development


Consultation on the Road to Economic Prosperity Action Plan for African Nova Scotian Communities. This is an opportunity to provide feedback and input on the draft Action Plan which aims to advance economic development and community priorities.
Consultations are being held for the community of Upper Hammonds Plains
September 9, 2020 – Upper Hammonds Plains Community Centre
Provisions will be made for social distancing.
Hand Sanitizer and Mask will be available
Meetings will start at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
